The DSX is a data-cine, designed specifically for commercial post production, resolution independent film mastering and restoration projects. The DSX film scanner uses cutting edge technology to ensure the highest possible quality image – regardless of film type or condition. Using the unique OLIVER system for dust and scratch removal, the effect of surface damage on film is dramatically reduced – and often totally removed, providing transfers and masters which are exceedingly clean. Our DSX supports positive/negative/inter positive in 16mm, Super 16mm, 35mm, Super 35mm film formats with optical sound tracks. The following output resolutions and frame rates are available in tape-based or file-based formats depending on your requirements:
625/50, 525/60, 720p, 1080i/50/60, 1080p, 24sf video operation, 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 10 bit output. 2K and 4K 14 bit
